Updated October 29, 2026 · By I Need Coupons Editors · How we verify savings

Walmart's everyday low prices are only the starting point. The bigger savings come from its Walmart+ membership, its in-store price match against Walmart.com, and its clear rules on paper manufacturer coupons.

Verified Walmart coupon codes

We haven’t verified a working Walmart promo code yet. We only list codes our editors have tested ourselves, so this box stays empty rather than showing expired or made-up codes. In the meantime, the savings below come straight from Walmart’s own website.

Ways to save at Walmart

Walmart+ membership

Walmart+ includes free delivery on orders of $35 or more, free shipping from Walmart.com with no order minimum, a streaming benefit (Paramount+ or Peacock) and gas savings. The annual fee is $98, and Walmart advertises a discounted Walmart+ Assist option for people who receive qualifying government assistance. When we checked, Walmart was offering a 30-day trial for $1.

Price match in store against Walmart.com

Walmart's U.S. stores will match the price of an identical item advertised on Walmart.com, as long as it is in stock online when you ask. Walmart says it does not match competitors' online or in-store prices, and some matches need supervisor approval.

Paper manufacturer coupons

Walmart accepts valid paper manufacturer coupons for products it sells, as long as they scan at the register. If a coupon is worth more than the item, Walmart does not give cash back or apply the overage to other items.

Rollbacks and clearance

Walmart marks temporary price cuts as Rollbacks and runs clearance sections online and in stores. Browse those first before paying full price on non-urgent items.

Earn cash back on top of these savings

After you apply a coupon, you can often earn twice more on the same order: start at a cash back site such as Rakuten or TopCashback, then pay with a cash back credit card. Our sister site explains how, with dated rates and fees.

Our editors’ tips for Walmart

  • Compare the in-store shelf price with Walmart.com on your phone before checkout, then ask for a price match if the website is lower.
  • If you place more than a few delivery orders a month, add up what you pay in delivery fees and compare it to the $98 Walmart+ annual fee.
  • Bring paper manufacturer coupons only for items you were already buying; coupon value above the item price is not refunded.
